Hot Buttered Rum Was The First Butterbeer

Don't try to convince me otherwise. Its history suggests that it's definitely old enough to be the ultimate contender for J.K. Rowling's delicious foil. Even better? You can make this alcohol-free, which renders it the perfect accompaniment for introducing the Harry Potter series to your kids! Since it'll last for a long, long time in the refrigerator, I also recommend meandering your way through the books after hours as you imbibe in this delicious, warming beverage. Scroll down for the best cold weather drink I've ever made!
