About Old Fashioned AF

Tarah Cantrell has pin-curled her hair since she discovered and watched a box full of Shirley Temple VHS tapes at a cousin's farmhouse as a young child. Her first job after college was at Conner Prairie Living History Park where she dressed in stays from nine to five and lived like someone from an 1830s Indiana frontier town.

Fast forward over 10 years and Tarah has performed in burlesque shows, acted in and directed theatrical productions, taught, and created reproduction vintage clothing for herself. She curates posts for Old Fashioned AF out of the need to share her own experiments in cooking, cleaning, and housewife-ing on the internet where she believes that most things don't ever truly become old fashioned.
